Does FrostBanner make my website legally compliant?
It gives you the tools the law expects: consent before tracking, an equal “Reject all” button, granular categories and a record of each decision. You are still responsible for listing the cookies your site uses and keeping your cookie policy accurate. FrostBanner does not give legal advice.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You paste one line into your site's header (on WordPress this takes a minute with a header plugin). Everything else happens in the dashboard.
What data do you store about my visitors?
For each decision: a random consent ID, the choices made, the banner version, country, page address and a hashed IP address. We never store the IP itself, and the log is deleted after 12 months. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
Where is the data hosted?
On Cloudflare's infrastructure. Login emails are sent through Resend from servers in Ireland.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from the payment receipt or your Paddle account. Your site moves back to the Free plan at the end of the paid period.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. Paddle issues an invoice with VAT for every payment. You can add your company's VAT number at checkout.
